What Is Orthopedics?
Orthopedics is a field of medicine that seeks
to treat injuries ranging from broken bones and dislocated shoulders
to torn ligaments and diseased joints. It can involve any illness
or injury to your bones, joints, ligaments, muscles or tendons
that prevents you from performing daily activities. Ultimately,
the goal of orthopedic treatment is to enable you to lead a healthy,
active life — whether you are a competitive athlete or simply
enjoy taking leisurely walks.
